6 Xmas trees and 1 FCM Spare for Aker Solutions in Brazil to CCBÅgotnes (Bergen) and Polarbase in Hammerfest.

deugro Brazil has together with K2 Project Forwarding arranged transport of 6 Xmas trees and 1 FCM Spare for Aker Solutions in Brazil to CCB Ågotnes (Bergen) and Polarbase in Hammerfest.

The Xmas trees destined for Ågotnes are for the Equinor Breidablikk Subsea Project and the Northern Light Project, a part of the Norwegianfull scale carbon capture and storage project, Longship CCS. The Northern Light Project, owned by Equinor, Shell and Total compromises transportation, receipt, and permanent storage of 1,5 Million tons of CO2 per year and is the first license for storage of carbon emissions at the Norwegian ContinentalShelf. It is a great honor to be part of this groundbreaking project that will be operational from 2024.

The transport was carefully planned and executed together with dteq in Brazil and Fjeld Consultant in Norway, preparing an end-to-end method statement including seafastening design and lifting arrangement in all ports.

We thank Aker Solutions for the trust placed with deugro / K2 ProjectForwarding and all involved parties including Coast Center Base AS andPolarbase AS for a safe and well performed operation.
